ACHIEVEMENT DESCRIPTION
The Platinum Standard UPRT Mastery Qualification (Jet Operations) is the apex recognition within the APS Every Pilot In Control UPRT Mastery Program, awarded to pilots who have excelled in an integrated APS-designed-and-delivered Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (UPRT) program, combined on-aircraft training, advanced class-specific simulation, and type-specific mixed/virtual reality integration.
Requirements for use of on-aircraft piston and/or jet training and the specifics of advanced simulation airplane category requirements to comply with this standard of excellence vary by the graduate's day-to-day operational needs and performance profile.
This prestigious achievement, granted by Aviation Performance Solutions (APS), represents superior competencies in managing flight dynamics, effective mitigation of incapacitating human factors to include startle and surprise, solving complex airplane upsets, applying high altitude handling skills, enhanced aeronautical decision making (ADM), expanded threat and error management (TEM), flight path management (FPM), and improved aircraft control. It is a mark of distinction that sets the recipient apart in the aviation industry.
All APS UPRT awards, valid for two (2) years, fully comply with the Every Pilot In Control Solution Standard (EPIC-S2), the international standard establishing the optimized implementation and delivery features of effective, life-saving UPRT programs.
